For New Year's Day we did the traditional meal. The girls helped break up the collards and put the filling in the deviled eggs (not pictured since we forgot about them till later). Me, JD and the girls enjoyed cooking together and it was a pretty tasty meal. The placemat is actually one of the six I made. They each have a different word like "Honesty", "Love", "Family", etc.... I'm loving burlap and looking for any reason to incorporate it into my decor.
I am a Wife and Stay at Home Mommy of four. This is a new experience for me since giving birth in the summer of 2011. I am a Pinterest-aholic and spend way too much time looking up new recipes and crafts to work on. I love my hubby because he unwillingly obliges to joining me in my crafty shopping adventures (he even adds input and helps finish designs). I love God and I love my family. Life isn't perfect, but I'm not complaining.

New Year's Food Brings Wealth, Right?
